EasemyGST partners with Microsoft to launch GST compliance solution

New Delhi, May 25, 2017:   India’s leading GST compliance enabler, EasemyGST, and Microsoft India, today, announced a strategic alliance to enable customers to comply with the Goods and Services Tax in a secure and comprehensive manner. Through this alliance, customers will now have a simple and affordable platform that will ease their GST requirements, thus, saving them from the expense of separate compliance products. Microsoft India and Telecom Sector Skill Council ink MOU to drive skill development for the Indian Telecom Sector through Project Sangam

New Delhi, 22 May 2017: Microsoft India today signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) to jointly explore how Project Sangam will help enhance skills of executives in the telecom sector and create a more viable skilling ecosystem. Announced by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella earlier this year at Future Decoded, Project Sangam is a cloud hosted platform that leverages Azure services, as well as the power of LinkedIn, to provide an integrated mobile-first platform for skilling, and employment. The pilot is intended to skill candidates in the areas of ICTEC (Information, Communication Technology, Electronics & Cyber as related to Telecom) and connect them with jobs. With this pilot, Microsoft India will provide TSCC a platform to onboard identified skilling partners, content creators, training candidates and potential employers. Technology for human rights: UN Human Rights Office announces landmark partnership with Microsoft

GENEVA and REDMOND, Wash. — May 16, 2017 — The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on Tuesday announced a landmark five-year partnership with Microsoft Corp. As part of the agreement, Microsoft will provide a grant of $5 million (USD) to support the work of the UN Human Rights Office. This represents an unprecedented level of support from a private-sector organization. A particular area of focus for the partnership will be the development and use of advanced technology designed to better predict, analyze and respond to critical human rights situations, which currently appear not only to be proliferating in many parts of the world — including areas previously viewed as stable — but also growing in complexity.
